If you are going on a camping holiday, you will need a strong, well- made tent, and a warm sleeping bag. For cooking you will need a primus or similar stove, and some simple cooking utensils such as a kettle, frying-pan and saucepan, as well as a tin-opener. You will need paraffin for your stove, a bucket for carrying water and a wash bowl. You should also be sure to take a safety-lamp, some matches and a length of rope for securing things.
